Our story
Once upon a time
A bar, a dare between friends, a shot of Passoã, and a meeting that would change everything.
Once upon a time… a bar in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. As Juliette was dancing with her friends, her eyes landed on a certain bartender, busy making cocktails in his Adidas t-shirt. Her friends threw down a dare: “Go ask for his Instagram, and we’ll buy you a shot!” Spurred on by the promise of a Passoã shot, Juliette gathered her courage and went to ask Valentin the famous question. They spent the rest of the evening talking, then met again a few days later… never suspecting that this encounter would change their lives.
Ever since, Valentin and Juliette have shared the same passion: exploring the world. From the streets of Edinburgh and its famous Johnnie Walker Experience, to the buzz of New York, by way of the fascinating landscapes of Uzbekistan, every trip is a new adventure they love to recount.
And because a family wouldn’t be complete without them, they also share their daily life with their two cats, Swift and Oupi Goupi, whom they consider (very objectively) their children.
Today, a new adventure begins… and they’re delighted to share it with you.
The proposal
Down on one knee, in Montmartre
Autumn 2025. Valentin is certain of one thing: he wants to ask Juliette to marry him. After choosing the ring with the utmost care, he first asks her parents for her hand. On Christmas morning, they decide to spend a few hours in Montmartre. Under the pretext of filming a video for his parents, Valentin finds a quiet little spot, away from the crowd. He sets up his phone, takes a deep breath… then drops to one knee. Taken by surprise, Juliette first asks whether it’s a joke. When she realises the moment is truly real, she answers, without a moment’s hesitation: yes!

A wedding to remember
We invite you on 28 August 2027 to the Domaine des Danjean in Signe for a wedding to remember. Here’s how the day will unfold, from the late-afternoon “I do” to the small hours of the night.
- 5:00 pm · The ceremony
The secular ceremony
The secular ceremony begins at 5:00 pm. The most important moment: saying “I do,” in front of you.
- Then · Cocktail
Cocktails by the pool
A warm cocktail hour by the pool will follow, with two culinary stations that will surprise you.
- Evening · Dinner
Dinner, cheese and cakes
A seated dinner, then a cheese and cake buffet: enough to fill you up and delight your taste buds.
- Evening · until 3:00 am
A party into the small hours
And a party that will end at 3 am. Bring good shoes for dancing.
- The next day · 11:00 am
The brunch
We’ll expect you bright and ready at 11 am the next day to keep the celebration going over brunch.

Off to the Var
The Domaine des Danjean is in Signe, in the Var (France). Several options are available to join us there. Here’s how to turn the trip into a real holiday in the South of France.

Direct from Paris to Toulon (about 4 hours). Shuttles will be waiting for you at 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm. We do recommend renting a car to explore the region, though.
